What are things to do in Fernie in Winter? Ski or snowboard at nearby Fernie Ski Resort, which is just 7 min drive from our lodge. Ski Shuttle bus stops at the back of our lodge. Go sledding, X-country Skiing, Snowshoing, or Catskiing at nearby backcountry designated areas. Ask our knowledgable staff who will help you with a map, directions and advice.

What are things to do in Spring, Summer or Fall in Fernie? Go for a hike, scramble or climb nearby Rocky Mountains. Or go for fly fishing in the Elk River or go for a backcountry hike. Mountain biking is very popular in Fernie, there are tens of well maintained trails nearby. Or go say hi to painted turtles in nearby Surveyor lake or go for boating or canoeing in 6 pretty lakes which are within 30 to 45 min drive from Fernie. Do you allow pets in lodge? Yes, we do have few pet friendly rooms. Only small dogs allowed and other restrictions apply. Please call ahead to find out.

Do you have smoking rooms? No, we do not have smoking rooms. Our lodge is 100% smoke free facility, however, We have designated smoking areas outside the exit doors.

Is your WiFi free? What other amenities do you have? Yes, our Wifi is FREE for our lovely guests. We have FREE parking, FREE BBQ facility, FREE hot tub, FREE communal kitchen, FREE game area, FREE ski lockers and a variety of excellent amenities FREE for our guests to use and enjoy.

Do you take monthly rentals? Well, you are welcome to stay as long as you like. Our monthly rates are based on discounted daily rates. Discount depends on time of the year and availability. Call us to find out more.

How far are you from a grocery store, or pub or restaurant or downtown Fernie? Our lodge is located in the heart of Fernie, within walking distance to most public amenities. Grocery store, pubs, bars, restaurants and downtown Fernie are all within few blocks from our lodge.

Are you a family friendly hotel? What about a group of bikers, or hikers or mountain bikers? Yes, we are a family friendly lodge. We are also friendly to bikers, hikers, mountain bikers, fly fishers, golfers, tourists, locals, and to everybody who walks through our front door looking for a place.

Do you have rooms for a group of friends or families for a special event? Yes, we do have five bedrooms suite, which can sleep 10 people and is suitable for a group of friends or families.
